Kerryn Maxfield

Kerryn has extensive experience both with claims management and rehabilitation services, having previously worked as a Case Manager with an Insurance Agent for Workers Compensation. Kerryn joined MS Vocational Services in July 2005 and has experience both with return to work pre-injury employer and transition and job-seeking services. Kerryn has worked with claims through Insurance Agents, Self-Insured Employers, Government and Department of Defence.

Kerryn has assisted with developing and managing a number of projects since coming to MSVS. These have included a job-seeking pilot project utlising the services of a Job Network Provider to assist placing injured workers into suitable employment. Kerryn has also been involved in the development, implementation and management of an Intensive English and Job-Seeking Skills program for CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) clients. This program has been developed in conjunction with Dennis Aistrope Tutoring and aims to teach CALD clients the required English and communication skills for obtaining alternative employment and teaching job seeking skills such as developing resumes and application letters.

Kerryn has extensive experience working in particular with long-term job-seeking clients. Kerryn has been individually nominated in both 2007 and 2008 for the WorkCover Recovery and Return to Work Awards, and was a finalist in the 2008 awards program.
